Great deals on our Corvette insurance & commission too

Why choose us for American Car insurance?

We’ve always had a soft spot for the cars across the pond; the American classics, muscle cars, street rods and hot rods. Sometimes you’ll have no choice than to find an American car insurance specialist as a lot of general UK insurance brokers have trouble with it due to their imported nature. Luckily you’ve found a specialist; having covered them for three decades we’re the right choice for left-hand drive vehicles. Our long running ties with the National Street Rod Association further proves that we have stars and stripes running through our veins.

There’s a lot to thank the Americans for, they didn’t invent the modern car but they certainly improved production methods, enabling the fast mass production that turned the car from being a rarity to the common place. From the earliest Ford to a brand new Tesla there’s a scheme to suit them all.

What is Classic car insurance?

Classic car insurance is for cars that are classic, the real question is what’s a classic car? Classic car is a broad term often used to describe any older or antique car, as there is no definition that is set in stone. Unlike the definitions used with Historic Vehicle Tax (pre 1977) we felt it shouldn’t be a fixed value. We created our categories with expansion in mind. Modern and future classic will always apply to the upper age brackets of vehicles. As time passes, these brackets move, creating an ever expanding classic category.

I did a rapid U turn when I saw the sight of all of the C7 Corvette's and Camaro's on display at Rick Hendrick's fabulous dealership in Naples Florida during a recent family trip over the pond... I received a warm although air-conditioned welcome from the guys at Rick Hendrick and soon started to chat with the sales manager who was very keen to do me a deal on a new C7 , alas we didn't quite get together on figures but i sure was fun trying..
